The homeowners asked Bates Landscaping to create a water feature for their backyard! Previously they had a railroad tie border, woodchip area for the kids playset – now that the kids were too old for the playset, they wanted to upgrade for something the parents could enjoy!
Bates designed a custom pondless water feature with natural fieldstone boulders, and custom placement work. We used a mix of large and small riverstone too. The pondless waterfall featured a 4ft high section that spilled into lower sections, and ended at the foot of the deck.
The homeowners wanted to hear and see water from their kitchen to make a big impact. Once the water feature was completed, we finished it all off with seasonal trees, shrubs, and perennials to send it over the top!
