Natural Stacked Wall Re-Build

The homeowner had a dry-stacked, natural stone retaining wall that was failing and collapsing.

Location:

Montgomery County, PA

Budget Range:

$20,000 – $25,000

Project Description:

Bates Landscaping recommended to re-use the existing stone as it was all in fairly good condition and worked very well with the existing stone and space, conceptually. We disassembled the wall section by section, installed the proper base material to support the wall on the hillside. We installed proper drainage piping throughout the wall to drainage the surface water properly. Lastly, we re-installed the dry-stacked wall and added new stone, where needed, and mortared the top section to secure.
